To hide your Personal pictures and videos from seeing another one on android is very easy,u can hide without installing any software.
Steps to follow

First of all goto ur file manager ,where u have kept Ur personals vid & pics Then goto the folder where ur files are present.

Hide videos

If u have videos and u want to hide it just rename it and write these words 'POO'at the end of the video name,for example if u have a video by the name REHANJAMIL.MP4 (or 3GP/MKV/AVI etc) ,Just rename it as REHANJAMIL.MP4poo and click ok.ur gallery will not show ur video & when u click such videos in file manager it will give u a message' Your file is not supported'     If u want again to visible ur video just remove  the words from the end of the video ,which u have added (poo).ENGOY

HIDE Pictures

Do the same with your pic name as u done with ur video name.e.g if ur pic name is  EAGLE.JPG (or PNG/GIF etc) Rename it with EAGLE.JPGpoo Ur phone will hide it.

NOTE: if you cannot rename your videos or photos one by one then u can rename it through one click using android application name FILESTOOLS download from play store and save time.
